Quality Control Inspector

Purpose: Aerotek is currently hiring Quality Control Inspectors in the northeast Houston area. This position is geared more toward entry level NDT students that have a Level I Certification in RT, PT, and MT that want to eventually become a Level II.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of training in Non-Destructive Testing. They must also have good computer skills with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).

Duties include performing NDT inspection on the assembly lines and filling out appropriate documentation according to company?s procedures, assisting the QC Assembly Supervisor and QC Assembly Inspector-Leadman as needed. Additional duties include assisting welders and helpers as needed to maintain production, maintain equipment used for safe operation and ensure work areas are kept clean and clear of safety hazards. Additional duties as required by management. At least 6 months of hands-on experience within a materials testing laboratory, certifications in NDE (RT, PT, and MT) and experience working with ISO management system are huge pluses.

Inspectors are currently working 12 hour shifts, day or night, and some weekends. Candidates must be flexible for day or night shift, weekends and overtime as needed. Pay is $11-14/hr depending on experience and interview. Interested candidates need apply immediately.
