Quality Assurance Specialist (QA)

Purpose: Aerotek is looking for a QA Specialist with 10+ yrs of experience to work in Crystal City, VA .

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The candidate will assess and assist in the oversight of the quality assurance and management programs established and executed by SI contractors, OEMs, and other contractors, as directed. This will include identification of issues or concerns with these contractors' quality programs, analysis of quality reports, assessment if specific quality issues identified, and participation in quality reviews, as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 10 years + of Quality Assurance Exp.
a. Prepare and review QA plans and procedures
b. Prepare reports to include recommended preventative/corrective action
c. Prepare and review audit plans, procedures and checklists
2. ISO 9000 Quality Implementation Exp.
a. Perform quality trend analysis to support product and process improvement
b. Oversee, monitor and/or review testing, test data collection, test analysis and reports
3. Hardware/ Systems QA exp. from an Acquisition Standpoint knowledge
a. Prepare and review QA requirements for acquisition of equipment and services
b. Full Life Cycle (from concept to deliver)
4. FAA or any DoD (Program Level exp a plus)
a. i.e. Navy or other military Branches
b. Mil Standard 973 a plus
5. Candidates must be clearable
a. Secret Clearance a plus
