Quality Assurance Manager

Top candidate for this position will:
Assign and manage resources on various projects
Monitor and report overall project and group status to supervisors
Recruit, develop and lead the group
Provide direction and vision to effectively keep team in the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry
Identify and define the knowledge and skills required for a QA Team
Ability to apply quality management, change control, risk mitigation and customer satisfaction control procedures.
Adhere to and create QA methodology/management guidelines, best practices and reporting/communication guidelines.
Develop and maintain positive, working relationships with all levels of internal/external management, including up to a senior executive level.
Provide effective leadership and management to a team of Software Test Engineers.
Provide excellent mentoring and advice
Drive the team's career growth and satisfaction, help drive a culture on the product team that leads to high quality service delivery.
Set a clear mission for the QA Team and communicate it broadly, ensuring the actions of the team are aligned with that mission.
Demonstrate awareness of business objectives and impacts to the company.
Take accountability for decisions made within the team.
Champion the most appropriate methodologies/processes/tools
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.
3-5 years Project Management experience.
5+ years software testing/QA experience.
Displays good resource management skills such as:
Ability to resolve conflict within group to
achieve positive outcomes.
Ability to provide constructive feedback to
resources to achieve positive outcomes.
