The Information Lifecycle Management group provides storage applications to simplify the increasing complexity of managing the full data lifecycle from creation to disposal. Our solutions combine grid-based application-aware archival and content indexing applications with storage hardware solutions to deliver value to our customers. The base system is the Reference Information Storage System which provides email and document archiving. Additional products in development include disk-based backup and hierarchical storage management solutions.

Manage and Develop QA organization. Coordinate creation and execution of test plan and test suites including debugging/error detection capability, regression testing, few GUI testing, static analysis and load testing; Design and implement formal QA program including QA Strategy and staffing, Quality Policies, Procedures and Test Plans. Report deadlines and State of the QA progress to the executive team.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Education
A Bachelor's (undergraduate), Master's (graduate), or Doctorate (postgraduate) degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, etc.)
Experience and knowledge
Minimum of 5 years of QA manager/leader in a mid size organization. Must have experience in Large Scale server side software provider validation such as Database server, Operating system, Clustering Software, high end backup software. Minimum 5 years experience in a Data Center and/or Software Engineering arena. Programming skills (e.g. J++/Java or C/C++)· Proficiency in networking and PERL scripting. Experience with black box and white box testing techniques and methodologies. Experience with functional, regression, performance and stability testing. Experience with coding in Unix & NT.
Manage and Grow the QA team and processes in order to ensure that top quality products are being delivered to our customer. Establish the proper strategy to minimize time spent in test cycle and ability to perform simultaneous validation of multiple product release. This position will be hands on management.
Responsible for assessing, use and implement (if needed) tools into the test environment that will help engineering and operations test the product to the specified requirements and improve the software development process.
