Review and approve USDA 2008s for QA prior to submission to the USDA.

Review and approve QM reports for QA.

Review and approve Batch Release Protocols for QA.

Review and approve QC Test Specifications for QA.

Perform daily QA release of biological products following USDA approval of 2008s.

Review Certificates of Analysis against 2008s, QC test data sheets and expiration forms.

Review and approve biological product expiration date calculations for QA.

Review Incident and Investigation Reports and approve for QA.

Review and approve biological stability reports for QA.

Assist with the development, revision, implementation and maintenance of QA SOPs.

Perform tasks as assigned by management personnel.QUALIFICATIONS

Associate or Bachelors of Science Degree in Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry preferred. Will consider two years relevant Quality Assurance, biological production, and/or biological quality control experience.

Rudimentary knowledge of basic science and basic principles of GMPs and Quality Assurance.

Capable of making quality decisions pertaining to assigned responsibilities.

Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents for accuracy and compliance to approved regulations and specifications.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and work effectively with people at all levels within the organization.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and AS/400 software preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
