Two Chefs on a Roll, located in Carson, is a food processor that is looking for a qualified individual.Quality AssuranceThe job -
This position will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and will assist in the management of the quality and food safety efforts of the facility, as well as the following:Conduct, as necessary, appropriate testing of materials, WIP, finished goods, and equipment, to assure compliance with product quality standards as required by GMP, HACCP and specifications.
Follow proper chemical, physical, microbiological and sensory testing procedures.
Comply with and promote proper GMPs, GLPs, safety guidelines and quality assurance and food safety programs.
Use proper documentation and generate accurate records according to process control and QA programs. Review and file records after end of shift/day.
Conduct and record pre-op inspections and/or change-overs of production lines, and propose work orders and corrective actions, as needed.
Conduct proper monitoring of CCPs and CPs, according to product/line HACCP plan.
Monitor and report manufacturing and materials deviations from product and materials standards.Benefits -

REQUIREMENTS
The Associate should have a high school diploma and/or:
- Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.
