QC Technician

Purpose: A Growing Medical Device Company in Chicago is looking for a driven, focused, and professional QC Inspector. This is a growing company which is looking for individuals with FDA experience who can help bring new and existing products to a superior level of quality to all of their customers. This individual will be primarily doing initial inspection of purchased parts for conformity to engineering drawings, standards, specifications, and processing requirements. Inspection will range from dimensioning, visual inspection, and hand-tool inspection. Experience with calipers, meters, gauges, and other instruments are required. There will be a significant amount of documentation and record-keeping in this position, and individuals must be organized, detail-oriented, and meticulous to each specification and data point. This individual will be responsible for providing reports to cross-functional groups regarding quality/inspection issues.

This is a very autonomous position, so candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings is a must, and communications skills are key. Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, and Excel is also required.
