QC Micro Tech

On Assignment Lab Support, the company run by scientists for scientists, seeks an experienced QC Micro Tech in the Denver area.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or other life sciences

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate aseptic sampling
• Aseptically prepares & dispenses microbiological media into plates & bottles
• Processes samples using asceptic techniques onto filters, plate & liquid media
• Incubates samples per specification
• Inputs all sampling location and times into Micro-quality databases
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
• Practical knowledge and usage of microscopes, millipore filtrations, autoclaves, incubators (aerobic & anerobic), pH meters, media prep, & dispensing equipment
• Sound knowledge of aseptic sampling, processing, & microorganism development
• Sufficient knowledge of computers and databses
• 3-5 years of experience
