QC Inspector

Purpose: SO Orange County Tool Manufacturer needs a Mechanical Inspector for first piece and in process inspection of small machined parts. Candidate will have familiarity of machine shop process and will work directly on the machine shop floor. Candidates will have a minimum of 2 recent years experience in a related field. Candidates must be able to read blueprints. An understanding of geo-metric tolerances is required. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their knowledge in the use of micrometers, calipers, thread and pin gages, surface plate and height gages, and an optical comparator. Will be pushing a cart around through out the day with tooling of up to 50lbs on it. Must be physically capable of performing to this requirement.
