QC Chemist

Purpose: A large pharmaceutical manufacturing company in St. Louis, MO is currently seeking an entry-level Chemist to work in their Quality Control laboratory.

Responsibilities:

- Quality Control testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products.

- Analysis using HPLC, GC, Ion Chromatography and other analytical instrumentation.

- Preparation of samples, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

- Proper documentation of test results according to GMP guidelines.

Requirements:

- B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Biology Degree with a Chemistry Minor.

- Experience using HPLC from college laboratory coursework or internship is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility to cover different shifts.

Shift:

Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

5:00 am - 2:00 pm, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am

Candidates must be flexible to rotate between shifts every four weeks.
