Job Description:
Position Summary: To implement and administer HDI’s Quality Management/Improvement activities in support of the Company’s overall Quality Management program. To identify areas of improvement and assist in the coordination and training of clinical staff. To serve as an educational and training resource to ensure basic skills are intact and staff is progressing to a higher level of performance.

Key Accountabilities:

1.Administers the Quality Assurance Program as established by HDi Policies and Procedures.
2.Compiles and reports on each audit category using data collected through the audit process, identifying trends and patterns and submitting the results to the Unit Manager and the QA Manager.
3.Identifies areas for improvement and formulates plans to educate staff.
4.Participates in monthly Quality Assurance staff meetings and presents as needed. Attends routine TCM staff meetings regularly.
5.Participates in customer-driven Quality Improvement initiatives, audits and marketing.
6.Provides re-education, training, results and feedback to staff regarding QA audits.
7.Develops and presents educational sessions to staff.
8.Facilitates team building and training as necessary.
9.Functions as a Case Management and Utilization Management question/answer resource.
10.Coordinates and assists in new hire training in conjunction with Unit Coordinator.
11.Assists with training staff on existing and new policies/procedures.
12.Contributes to the development of training/education tools and manuals.
13.Provides constructive feedback (written & oral) on medical case management staff skills.
14.Assists in the development of improvement/corrective action plans.
15.Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Technical Knowledge, Experience and Skills Requirements:

1.Licensed Registered Nurse required. BSN preferred.
2.At least 3 years of case management experience within an insurance or healthcare environment is required. Workers’ Compensation & Utilization Review experience is preferred.
3.Previous experience in a quality assurance/training role is preferred.
4.Strong computer skills required, preferable using Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
