The IT support Specialist/ Sr. Associate demonstrates accomplished technical expertise. He/she works independently to solve complex problems requiring judgment based on functional experience. Seeks opportunities to improve products and processes. Recognizes areas for improvement within the team, the process, technology, etc. and takes appropriate action to initiate the change. Actively promotes teamwork to achieve group goals. May participate in the decision making process. Leads projects of limited scope in own discipline. Administers activities which impact own team, or multiple teams within a medium to large office(s) or region/cluster.Primary responsibility for the role may include:Planning, design, implementation and support of DS and Client System applications.
Resolves technical issue and provides best practices for the monitoring, support, maintenance, and implementation of applications.
Will work directly with GAMG and RM sponsors on daily implementation/support issues.
Will closely liaison with development, support, and testing departments to build and execute territory and theatre level product implementations.
Technical 'hands on' implementation work is required for this position.
This work consists of installing Oracle/Lotus Notes on various platforms followed by customized Client System application builds.
Other duties as assignedSpecific Responsibilities:Provide Support, Testing, Implementation and Quality Assurance services within
Engagement Systems including the following responsibilities:Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of MyClient products in order to
provide 2nd/3rd level application support for PwC territories throughout the
world, including for clients and other third parties for externally licensed
products. It also includes understanding the implementation on multiple firm
PC platforms/images and integration with existing automated application
installation tools, where applicable.Provide implementation and software usage problem solving support (written and
verbal) for multiple territories and environments. Ability to identify system
defects and determine software workarounds to known 'system bugs' .Demonstrate complex problem solving skills while multi-tasking effectively.Ability to receive direction from team lead and execute direction w/ minimal

REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Four year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is preferred and three plus years relevant work experience.
Productivity, initiative, professionalism, customer service attitude, attention to detail and quality, ability to multitask, team focus, strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and adherence to firm and US IT standard operating procedures.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Strong skills utilizing Lotus Notes databases and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of technology/software relevant to team
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary for day-to-day operations and occasional weekend or after-hours coverage. May be required to carry cell phone, pager or blackberry.

2 years experience with product deployments and troubleshooting deployment
issues/problems and/or testing
2 years experience participating in ongoing analyses of support trends in order
