QA Supervisor I

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supervising Second Shift QA personnel and their day-to-day activities. The QA Supervisor is responsible for the issuance and verification of production documents (batch records, protocols, et.) to manufacturing personnel. Essential responsibilities are to:
1.Supervise and coordinate all Quality Assurance activities during the 2nd shift
2.Facilitate the training of personnel as needed for the job function
3.Train QA Technicians on new and revised SOPs and protocols
4.Conduct investigations for NCMRs.
5.Serve as the QA technical resource for all personnel during the 2nd shift
6.Review and/or prepare SOPs as needed
7.Establish objectives and conduct performance reviews with direct reports.
8.Perform other duties as required by QA
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor of Science in a scientific discipline is required
•At least 3 years of QC/QA pharmaceutical experience is required with a minimum of 1 year of experience in aseptic processing, cGMPs and laboratory techniques.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required with proficiency in Access desired
•Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Ability to manage conflicts.
•Physical requirements: 20/30 corrected vision, must be able to maintain gown certification to work in aseptic areas. Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted is desired.
