Q.A. Manager

Quality Assurance ManagerKelly Scientific Resources has a great opportunity for a Q.A. Manager at Juice processing plant in Frostproof Fl. This is a temp to perm position with the possibility of Direct Hire for the right Candidate.Skills and Duties:
Manage fully equipped quality assurance laboratory. Develop methodologies and analytical procedures, develop systems to calibrate and use specialized equipment such as HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, colorimeters and automatic titrators. Knowledge of physical and chemical properties of food ingredients and products with emphasis on citrus juices. Knowledge of chemical properties of different chemicals/solutions used in QA department, their application and safety measurements. Understanding of GMP/HACCP guidelines.Requirements:
BS/MS degree in food science, chemistry, or related field with 5 years demonstrated proficiency in citrus quality control. Requires strong interpersonal skills with excellent mgmt characteristics. Must be highly motivated with strong organizational skills.
