Product Release Specialist QA/QC (Entry Level)

Quality Control Product Release Specialist

This position is responsible for, but not limited to reviewing Processing Batch Records for satisfactory completion of all specified requirements and determining suitability of Company products for final release and/or other dispositions. This position is also responsible for electronic transaction of product from Work in Progress (WIP) to Finished Goods.
REQUIREMENTS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control
- Able to work overtime on an as needed basis

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of biological concepts, laboratory knowledge & laboratory safety
- Basic understanding of Quality Systems
- Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability interface effectively with all levels
- Detail-oriented with strong follow up skills
- Computer literate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Quality or Life Sciences field
- 3+ years experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the medical device industry
- Knowledge of product quality control, preferably in ISO 9001 or 21 CFR 820 environment (i.e. 21 CFR 1270, 21 CFR 820)
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Access & MS Excel
