Optical QA Inspector

We are in urgent need of an ASQ Certified Quality Technician. This will be a contract to hire opportunity with a company in Sylmar. Optical inspection experience is requires. Combination of vocational training/certification and ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector may be considered. Formal training on use of measurement tools. Computer literacy. Capable of meeting the minimum technical, general, and interpersonal skill requirements while maintaining an acceptable performance level


Requirements:

3+ years experience in Manufacturing Quality Assurance with advanced measurement responsibilities. Must have Optics experience. Able to work in a fast paced environment, work independently and in a team environment, learns technical processes quickly, simplify complex processes. Proficient at determining processes necessary for project completion. Understands how to separate and combine tasks for efficient work flow. Solves difficult problems using logic and methods. Strong analytical skills. Must be knowledgeable of Quality Concepts and Tools, Statistical Techniques, Metrology and Calibration, Inspection and Test, Quality Audits as well as Preventive and Corrective Action.
