Requirements:


Job Requirements
Degree in mechanical engineering, Six Sigma certification, 7+ years of practical experience.
Experience with establishing and maintaining 5-S, Kanban, TPM, SMED, material flow analysis, value stream mapping and other “lean” tools in a manufacturing and distribution setting.
Comfort with “hands on” approach to project completion.
Excellent communication skills with a wide range of people from customers to shop floor to upper management.
Understanding of and reliance on metrics appropriate to business unit; strong PC database skills.
