Medical Quality Specialist

Promoting compliance with regulatory accreditation company & customer requirements pertaining to the services they provide.
Review quality records, initiate Post Donation Events reports & Departmental Information Reports Support the development, description, implementation & improvement of company quality system.
Participate in the development & revision of quality procedure documents. Assist with implementation of changes related to new/revised accreditation and/or regulatory requirements.
Process & manage nonconformance, corrective & preventative action reports. Perform and manage QM internal audits. Serve as the escort & coordinator for external audits. Assist with oversight of self-assessment activities for all departments.
REQUIREMENTS
BA in medical technology, science, nursing or an allied health discipline. ASQ, CQA or CQE certification helpful. AA degree considered with extensive experience. Knowledge of FDA, CLIA, AABB, HCFA and OSHA regulations & blood center or clinical laboratory operations helpful. Prefer an individual with 3-5 yrs experience working and auditing in an FDA-licensed blood center, a CLIA accredited clinical laboratory with quality system experience.
This is a full time Direct Hire position, not contract to hire.
