Manager of High Stakes Test Development (grades K-12)

Compensation: There is assistance available for relocation. Responsibilities have been divided into five categories: 1. Procedural Responsibilities - The Manager will have some responsibility for Content Development administrative tasks associated with supervising staff. 2. Personnel - The Manager will directly oversee a team of professional staff. 3.Travel and Presentation Responsibilities - The Manager will have some travel and presentation responsibilities. Travel for a Manager will be approximately 4-5 weeks (20-25 business days) per year. 4. Organization and Planning Responsibilities - The Manager will have extensive responsibility for Organization and Planning activities. 5. Leadership and Professional Development - The Manager will demonstrate extensive leadership capabilities within the Custom group and the company as a whole and will pursue involvement in professional organizations or in continuing education.


Requirements

Travel Percentage: 20%

The Manager is an advanced position that requires excellent personnel supervision skills. Requires a Bachelor degree in liberal arts (English, history, political science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology or the like) or education; advanced degree preferred. Educational publishing, teaching, or curriculum development experience required. Must have proven ability in managing and leading large teams of professional staff.
