As Manager, Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for defining, managing and implementing a broad range of technical projects, which require specific experience, training and continuing education.

Developing and implementing efficient and effective test plans for new systems problems and/or enhancements.
Ensures adequate product testing prior to implementation.
Ensures the quality goals are achieved.
Manages large project test plans across departments.
Responsible for the area's integrity of the area test plans, data, environment, etc. as well as coordination with support areas.
Administers change control process for zero defect software development.
Ensures overall deliverable quality.
Responsible for effective development of programs to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards.
Monitor and provide direction regarding compliance of quality standards.
Responsible for effective program implementation to ensure company standards and end-user requirements are met.
Administers problem management process, including monitoring and reporting on problem resolution.
Makes recommendations regarding the acquisition and/or implementation of software to increase information system efficiency.
Leads team at project level.
Assigns work to others.
Monitors performance and conducts performance appraisals.
Oversees offshore Quality Assurance activities

Job Requirements:

Qualifications
Relevant Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6 years technical systems experience.
Project management experience.
Staff management experience.
Solid knowledge or experience in all areas of the development life cycle.
Specific systems require expert knowledge of business environment and its associate system processing.
Possess superior administrative and leadership capabilities.
Able to work effectively with senior management.
Experience in business environment preferred.
Mastery in application of techniques and use of testing tools.
Handles tasks of high complexity and risk.
Anticipates future trends and potential impact.
Leadership regarding tools and systems to complete projects.
Experience with Mercury Software Quality Center applications.
