The Technology, Information/Communications & Entertainment (TICE) assurance manager will assume overall responsibility for a team of professionals expected to deliver high quality service to top tier clients in our Assurance TICE practice in the San Jose area. He/she will be expected to proficiently utilize PricewaterhouseCoopers' state of the art analytical tools and practice methodologies in the attest/assurance process. This process includes annual risk assessment, engagement planning, use of the "review by interview" technique, analytical procedures, recommendations to enhance shareholder value, and focused reviews of information systems. Managers will be expected to manage multiple relationships, ensure client satisfaction through high quality service deliverables, and continue to develop industry and technical expertise through written reports and management presentations. Managers will be expected to share ideas with other staff and support critical reasoning with proper firm and professional standards. Overall deliverables: Reporting on financial and non-financial information, research and resolution of SEC issues, annual audits, quarterly reviews, coordination with internal audit departments, strong client relationships, exceptional project management, implementation of new technical standards, appropriate assessment and management of risk, recruitment/retention/development of staff, billable/chargeable hours, revenue generation, and expansion of services to meet clients' business needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
BA/B.S. degree in Accounting/or related field and a CPA license are required.Essential Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years "audit" experience on assurance engagement teams with a National, Regional or Big 4 accounting firm is required.

Audit Manager experience including supervisory experience of 2+ yrs also required.
Technology Industry experience is strongly desired.
A candidate who has left a National, Regional or Big 4 accounting firm and desires to return to a client service environment, will be
welcomed (with the above requirements).
