MANAGER LEAN ENTERPRISE & MASTER BLACK BELT
The Manager, Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise & Master Black Belt functions as an individual contributor providing Lean Six Sigma training, mentoring and coaching to Black Belts and Green Belts. This includes developing training and mentoring processes consistent with the company's strategy of long-term sustainable improvement and seminars on Six Sigma techniques, change management and other improvement methodologies. It also includes participation in BB project reviews to provide guidance and support.The Manager, Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise & Master Black Belt provides strategic leadership to the Champions in identifying business strengths and opportunities in the areas of business processes; Non-Operations and Operations arenas. The MBB assists Champions in establishing and setting specific business objectives centered on process improvement, and in selecting projects, characterizing projects and estimating financial impact of projects.The MBB leads in the selection of strategic multi-functional projects to support business needs as assigned.The Manager, Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise & Master Black Belt communicates and listens to key stakeholders and business leaders in an effort to understand the challenges and barriers of implementing Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise, while providing mentorship to key business personnel in developing ambassadors of Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise throughout the organization.The MBB coaches business leaders and staff personnel in the implementation of Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise activities to promote awareness, understanding, acceptance and engagement of Lean principles, methodologies and tools within the organization.The Manager, Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise & Master Black Belt position requires a background in Lean Manufacturing with Six Sigma Black Belt experience, program / project management with a consultant exhibited negotiation and influencing skill set centered on continuous improvement, in order to achieve significant impact to the business.The Manager, Six Sigma/Lean Enterprise & Master Black Belt ensures thorough familiarity with Rockwell Automation policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct, and trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.This position is located in Milwaukee, WI with 30% travel.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering Disciplines, or equivalent. Technical degree preferred. Mastery of advanced statistical tools.
Ten (10) plus years of professional work experience with extensive activity in cross-functional, cross-business processes. Possess strong Leadership skills in establishing strategic direction and deployment.Three (3) plus years proven experience leading Six Sigma/Lean projects and exposure to providing training and mentoring in Six Sigma and Lean Techniques.Well-developed leadership and project management capabilities with demonstrated success.Ability to lead and facilitate complex cross-functional projects.Demonstrated experience coaching and developing individuals in the application of skills.Exhibit the ability to negotiate and influence key personnel across multiple business units and geographies, while influencing positive change through awareness, understanding, acceptance and engagement.Desired QualificationsMasters in Business (MBA) or Masters in Engineering Management
