Lab Technician - Donor Testing Lab (NIGHTS)

Responsible for quarantine of unsuitable units, release of units to Distribution and appropriate disposition of units. Responsible for becoming familiar with FDA, AABB and CLIA’88 requirements pertaining to relevant job functions.
REQUIREMENTS
MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician), Medical Technologist (MT), or Bachelor of Science with equivalent technical background and experience, or Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology is required. 2 years of experience working in a lab which performs high complexity testing is preferred.
