The IT Quality Assurance Sr. Associate demonstrates accomplished technical
expertise. He/she works independently to solve complex problems requiring
judgment based on functional experience. Seeks opportunities to improve
products and processes. Recognizes areas for improvement within the team, the
process, technology, etc. and takes appropriate action to initiate the change.
Actively promotes teamwork to achieve group goals. May participate in the
decision making process. Leads projects of limited scope in own discipline.
Administers activities which impacts own team, or multiple teams within a
medium to large office(s) or region/cluster.Primary responsibilities of this position may include:Develops testing plans and scenarios in accordance with the functional
requirement, detail specification, and project plans
Manages test activities to ensure requirements are met and find multiple ways
to make the software break
Reports testing results and findings that don't meet quality standards
Retest problems after they are resolved by development
Performs functionality, regression, performance, stress and system level tests
Conducts product testing for the targeted environment (testing on multiple firm
PC platforms/images)
Analyzes the results and reports issues/problems via defect reports.
Responsible for certifying the software against functional requirements
Uses automated testing tools to facilitate testing
Interacts with developers, business analysts, and project managers
Contributes to project plans by detailing the expected level of effort and time
required, and consistently meet the allocated milestones.
Takes the initiative to suggest new standards, implement new strategies, and
take on special projects
Coordinates any necessary testing with other testing/support teams or areas
within DS
Conducts or participates in training sessions
Other duties as required
May lead a project teamEducation and Other Typical Requirements
Four year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is
preferred and three plus years relevant work experience.Productivity, initiative, professionalism, customer service attitude, attention
to detail and quality, ability to multitask, team focus, strong interpersonal
skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and adherence to firm
and US IT standard operating procedures.Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.Strong skills utilizing Lotus Notes databases and Microsoft Office SuiteUnderstanding of technology/software relevant to teamMust be willing to work overtime as necessary for day-to-day operations and
occasional weekend or after-hours coverage.May be required to carry cell phone, pager or blackberry.Commitment to professional growth; seeks opportunities for development; looks

Education Requirement:
4 year degreeEssential Requirements:
Unique Aspects of the Position, Specialized Knowledge or Skills
Experience in quality assurance testing preferably using automated testing
tools (Winrunner, QTP, etc)
Proficiency in portal and web technology
Prefer database knowledge (ie: Oracle)
Experience in Windows XP, software installation and configuration, local area
networking, and internet technologies.
Experience with Lotus Notes strongly preferred.
Experience with automated test programs, internet-based application testing
methodologies, and/or application performance and stress testing a plus
