Global Commodity Quality Manager

Worldwide responsibility for managing and leading Supplier quality initiatives and teams and mentoring GCQM's and GSQM's.  Develops and leads initiatives in setting commodity strategies.  Focal point for Supplier and Dell cross functional and regional teams. Manages complex commodities or suppliers and responsible for setting supplier strategy when it has not been determined. Drives the quality performance of multiple commodities and/or multiple suppliers and establishes goals and standards. Communicate effectively with extended and core teams, suppliers and executive level. Review Failure Analysis data and determination of systemic trends.  Providing feedback problem areas to Management and drive lessons learned back into the design process Approves and develops the strategy for quality management with the suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of statistical quality Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years experience; or Master’s degree and 6–8 years experience. Green Belt certification preferred.
