DOC/Data Base Coordinator and Quality tech.

Selected individual will support the Quality Department in developing, implementing and maintaining a document control system following the ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System requirements. Will be responsible for coordinating the Engineering Change System, audit the Quality Department data bases and perform quality technician tasks.

Specific responsibilities include:

In the area of Document Control, will be a team leader for developing, implementing and maintaining a document control system. Will develop document formats for various technical documents, procedures, policies and specifications. May teach functional departments how to write procedures to ISO 9001-2001 Quality Management System. Will develop time line to have all departments’ procedures in document control and in addition, audit documents for compliance. Responsibilities in the Engineering Change System include assisting individuals that are proposing changes to the business processes. Maintaining the data base on the changes and publish reports on the status of the changes and supporting the business that all documentation is updated with a change.

Quality Data Base area will audit the Internal Corrective Action, Supplier Complaint, Customer Complaint, Continual/ Preventive, Engineering Change data bases and other data bases. Audit to focus on thoroughness of documentation, evidence improvements implemented to resolve issues are still active and problems resolved in a timely manner and publish quarter results. In the area of Metrology Support, will develop data base for calibration schedule. Coordinate companies to calibrate equipment and write procedures for production test equipment. Finally, in the Quality Technician Support area will support reliability testing by standardizing methodology, schedule tests and participate in the completion of the tests.
REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must have an AS degree and experienced working with ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System. Minimum 3-5 years experience working with a document control system (Technical Writer / Document Administrator)Demonstrated ability to organize and manage Document Control Systems. Well versed in writing style and ECR/ECA administration experience. Thorough understanding of MS work/excel and basic understanding of Autocad, Solidworks or other engineering software application. Finally the ability to adapt to changing environment and job assignments and product reliability testing experience.
