Applications Test Technician

Purpose: A growing manufacturing company of automotive diagnostic equipment in the Owatonna area is currently looking for 4 Applications Test Technicians on 1st shift. This is a contract position paying $17+, depending on experience.

The Applications Test Technician is a candidate who has a strong automotive background. Looking for a possible ex-Automotive technician or a candidate with very similar experience. Automotive technicians have worked out extremely well in the past.

Individuals will be hooking up a diagnostic computer and the test equipment to a car engine and making sure that the equipment is running correctly, taking correct readings, etc. People really need to know the automotive field in order to make sure that the equipment is working correctly. Former mechanics who have worked in an up to date shop will have worked with this type of equipment and be familiar with it.
Employees need to do some reporting on results or on malfunctioning equipment. This means keeping track of paperwork and entering information into a computer.
