Techical Procurement Specialist

A Specialist, Technical Procurement under the leadership of the Team Leader, General Procurement will support the process to provide business essential, cost effective, charge-back services to associates and business units in the affiliated Friedkin companies. The Specialist will 1) find, qualify and acquire technical purchased goods and services for the affiliated Friedkin companies in a timely and efficient manner within the parameters of Service Level Agreements and purchasing policy with business unit customers, 2) leverage the affiliated Friedkin companies' purchasing power to obtain better pricing and payment terms from vendors. The Specialist also will take action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications in the affiliated Friedkin companies.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; 5 to 8 years related experience in General Procurement and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
