Supply Chain Manager

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

• Participate in negotiations for the establishment of freight rates for both Steamship line and truck movement of containers.

• Record, track and process container freight movements in a transparent way that allows a team of people to perform their individual jobs efficiently related to export processing.

• Participate in the management of overall supply chain to ensure that disruptions to logistics are anticipated and reacted to with insight, resolve and leadership.

Manage the staff to ensure contract terms are met. Adjust the work flow process to maximize efficiencies with system and human capital.
 
 REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to accurately and independently handle the transportation needs of the business. This demands problem solving skills, excellent attention to detail, an insistence on accuracy and timeliness, and the ability to form productive customer relationships.

Asian language skills preferred, specifically Mandarin Chinese.

Minimum 3-5 yrs exp, demonstrated PC skills required. Compensation is competitive; benefits are comprehensive.
