POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will have responsibility for the strategic sourcing of specific commodities. Commodities are technical and engineered and can include metals, stampings, forgings, steel, resin, or sourced components.You will be part of a cross-functional team interacting with every aspect of manufacturing with heavy involvement in new product development.You will be sourcing for product manufactured in multiple sites.You will travel including overseas travel approximately 30% of the time. Position reports to a Vice President level supply chain individual. There is a bonus available on top of the base salary quoted in this posting.

QUALIFICATIONS: You must have a four year degree and at least three years experience in a procurement role for manufacturing. You must have some experience sourcing overseas including travel overseas to source new suppliers. You must have a proven track record of purchasing wins and be able to demonstrate specific cost savings you have achieved.Commodity experience should be similar to what is listed above.
