Sr. Sourcing Specialist

The Sr. Buyer will have accountability of directing the cost savings efforts of his/her responsible commodities. Individual must be very strong in communication, negotiation, project management and computer skills, analytically driven for decision making, excellent relationship building techniques and flexible to work with all levels of the organization. Facilitate resources to redesign sourcing and supply chain processes supporting the business units across the company. Act as an advisor on the selection of suppliers and facilitate extensive market research and internal data collection. Benchmark with leading supply chain practitioners, internal and external, to identify and develop world class practices and methodologies in supply chain optimization, e-commerce and systems utilization. Establish/direct strategic sourcing objectives within specific responsibilities through cross-functional team leadership and participation. Individual must possess a very high level of ethical integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Strong, self-directed, and results oriented

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
•CPM preferred
•5 years of sourcing experience
•Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, economics, math, MIS or related discipline. MBA preferred
•Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
•Demonstrated command of complex sourcing, negotiating and commodity strategies, strong PC skills with demonstrated expertise in MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project management software and Visio.
•Strong human relations and communications skills.
•Domestic Travel +/- 25%
