Sr Mgr, Procure Process

To ensure value is achieved and optimised for completed Strategic Sourcing projects and activities. To be the Bancorp's "Centre of Excellence" for best practices in providing the sourcing tools and infrastructure needed to support sourcing organization. Oversee management of centralized Procurement functions, including continuous improvement in procurement processes and internal customer satisfaction. As a member of the Strategic Sourcing management team proactively participate in planning activities to leverage resources by effectively identifying and assessing sourcing and outsourcing opportunities, and planning activities and projects. Interacts with all areas of the Bancorp that manage suppliers/service providers and/or are impacted by the strategic sourcing process. Within the team, will selectively manage specific supplier/service provider/outsourcing arrangements and programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:SEE ACTUAL JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ALL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Bancorp's purchasing policies and procedures.

Provide the methods and tools enabling efficient procurement processes, accurate pre/post-spend visibility, and opportunities for the sourcing organization to reduce cost and effectively manage suppliers.

Ensure adherence and maintain Bancorp Supplier Program (Utilization of Preferred Suppliers) as related to traditional procurement activities.

Provides necessary tools (spend visibility) to identify non-compliant users and allow business owners to make decisions.

Liaison to Audit, Risk, Legal and other areas of the Bancorp for the Procurement process.

Co-ordinate overall Procurement project plans, ensuring aggregate projects will meet departmental objectives.

Provide Procurement progress meetings/status proactively highlighting any issuing with projects, timelines, suppliers, etc. that require awareness or attention

Serves as the liaison to the Information Technology group for all Sourcing departmental IT needs.

Develop and enhance working relationship with Accounts Payables department.

Leverage Lean Six Sigma recourses in the redesign of sourcing processes.

Actively engage with functional leaders and process owners to identify, form, facilitate and lead process redesign projects.

Provides summary and granular data to support sourcing and program management.

Provides enabling support on MWBE programs and initiatives

Constantly updates and upgrades knowledge and application of industry "best practices" in supplier/ service provider and procurement techniques, practices, methodologies and strategies.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Minimum: B Comm/BBA; MBA or related degree

Minimum 10 years management experience

Minimum: 5 years related experience

Desirable: Previous experience in Sourcing, Procurement or Consulting

Established track record of leadership/management skills

Strong team leadership and relationship management expertise
