We have the following opportunity in our ST. LOUIS, MO location.
This position will develop and maintain sourcing strategies for Information Systems. Responsible for strategic source planning with IS to determine needs for assigned outsourced goods and services and strategies for providing them. Lead negotiations and contracting activities with IS suppliers, minimizing risk, maximizing value and potential cost savings. Develop improvement priorities and cost saving initiatives with respect to the strategic sourcing assignments. Develop a superior working relationship with assigned suppliers along with key internal individuals and groups. Manage projects supporting the department initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years purchasing experience
- Experience in IS sourcing preferred
- Purchasing Manager Certification (C.P.M.) issued by Institute for Supply Management
- Demonstrated contracting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills

Education:
BA/BS degree plus 1-2 years post graduate study preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
