Sourcing Compliance Specialist

To insure all Grainger Sourcing quotes and orders are within compliance to Grainger's General Services Administration (GSA) contract.

- Review all GSA sourcing quotes and orders for compliance to Grainger's GSA contract
- Review and verify accuracy of GSA accounts
- Participate in the development and enhancement of compliance processes
- Verify orders are within terms of the GSA contract (i.e. pricing, freight, tax, etc.)
- Reconfirm products are within scope of Grainger's GSA schedule
- Surface any specific situations that are non-compliant with the terms and conditions of the contract to Sourcing Management
- Update requesters on status of quotes and orders
- Send notification to Federal customers of credits to their accounts
- Confirm Letter of Authorization on file for non-Federal Schedule Purchasers
- Issue credits to GSA accounts when applicable
- Maintain database of all non-compliance issues and actions
- Participate in and support Quarterly Grainger Internal Audits to insure full contract compliance
- Investigate details on specific situations where directed by Sourcing Management
- Run and review "P.O. Complete??? report of GSA orders for:
- Compliance
- Bill Block (If needed)
- Corrections
- Invoicing

REQUIREMENTS


- 5-plus years of Business experience
- Knowledge of Grainger Sourcing quotations processes
- Proficient in SAP
- Knowledge of MRO products
- Ability to distinguish products are within scope of Grainger's GSA contract
- Ability to anticipate incongruencies and potential issues
- Strong detail orientation
- 1-plus years of experience working with contracts
- Knowledge of GSA/Federal contracts
- Proficient in Excel and Access
- 1-plus years of Purchasing experience
- Working knowledge of the audit process
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Good business acumen
