SENIOR BUYER

In-Sink-Erator, a Division of Emerson (NYSE), and the world’s leader in the design and manufacture of premium, innovative sink appliances, has recently completed another record year! We have a key opening for a highly competent individual with strong interpersonal skills to grow and excel as a Senior Buyer.

You will apply Procurement techniques and strategies including Negotiating, Global Sourcing and Reverse Auctions in a high volume manufacturing environment. You will use your experience to accomplish a variety of strategic and tactical buying responsibilities. You will negotiate short-term and long-term agreements with top quality sources and also be responsible for the timely supply of quality parts and materials.
REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this position, you will have a B.A. in Management or a B.S. degree in Purchasing/Materials or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement. C.P.M. Certification and/or APICS is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical skills required. Proficient in the use of personal computers and mainframe systems-J.D. Edwards exposure a plus.
