Senior Buyer

Our client is a high volume sheet metal fabrication & assembly of consumer goods. This opportunity will offer tremendous growth potential for the right candidate. Key responsibilities for this position are:

Lead/coach hourly work unit of 30-40 union associates in sheet metal fabrication and/or final assembly of consumer goods.
Successful track record in a union plant is a must.
Administer company policies, procedures and labor agreement in consistent and prescribed manner.
Organize/lead continuous improvements in assigned area regarding 5S, lean manufacturing, quality, EHS & efficiency.
Willingness to work second shift if required. Our client offers a 10% shift premium for working night shift assignments. Overtime is also paid at 1.5 rate.

REQUIREMENTS
Four year degree with 5+ years of supervisor experience in a high volume sheet metal manufacturing facility. Lean manufacturing and union plant background is must.
