Senior Buyer

Purpose:
Government contacting simulations company located in South Orlando is seeking to fill an immediate position for a Senior Buyer. In this position candidate will be working in the office of a manufacturing facility performing all purchasing duties. Candidate will be responsible for the purchasing of all materials driven by system requirements and as requisitioned by user departments and insure the timely delivery of materials ordered.

Other responsibilities are as follows:
-Select vendors, assess vendor capabilities, develop alternate sources,
and evaluate vendor performance, negotiate price and delivery.

-Recommend major purchases of materials based on anticipated changes
in prices or on unusual availability situations.

-Purchasing of materials to meet the specifications as stated on the
purchase requisition.

-Insure that the purchase requisition is valid and has the proper approvals.

Candidate will work on a first shift Monday-Friday.
