Outstanding opportunity for a Manager of Purchasing for a leading manufacturing company of oil and gas equipment in Hammond. LA.

The Purchasing Manager defines supplier’s management strategy. Optimizes supply chain from suppliers to operations. Provides strong guidance and support to the business unit managers. Standardize approach to suppliers. Manages all supplier groups.

Bachelor's degree in technical or business field. Minimum 5 years experience working in a purchasing function in a manufacturing environment and with supervisory or team leadership experience. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
