Purchasing Manager

REHAU Incorporated, a leading international polymer manufacturer, seeks a career minded Purchasing Manager to be located at REHAU’s North American Headquarters.

Responsibilities of the position will include:
-Provides leadership for Purchasing department at Leesburg.
-Develops and sets appropriate standards for optimal efficiencies.
-Develops staff through training and counseling
-Monitors all purchases for North America
-Monitors costs and tracts cost savings for department.
-Manages day to day activities of the Purchasing staff.
-Examines and approves the utilization of personnel for the department.
-Examines costs for department on going basis
-Provides guidance for all personnel to meet department goals. Sets standards for excellence
-Analysis spend by commodity through competitive quotes.
-Evaluates all personnel and provides proper staffing for maximum output
-Manage day to day purchasing activities on specific commodities
REQUIREMENTS
Required experience and skills include:
-Contract negotiations with Suppliers
-Supplier Qualification and Management
-INCOTERMS
-Supply Chain Management Techniques
-Purchasing of raw materials and finished goods such as: machined and forged parts, extruded plastics, injection moldings, paints, tooling, metals
-Kanban, Minimum/Maximum, JIT, Rolling Forecast, Blanket Orders
