Purchasing Manager

Tri-Dim Filter Corporation, a solid leader in the clean air industry, has an excellent opportunity in our Louisa, VA facility for a Purchasing Manager with at least five years of relevant experience.

In this position you will have full responsibility for all of our purchasing activities. Reporting to our Executive VP and Chief Manufacturing Officer, you will manage and administer all purchasing functions within our US location as well as maintain costs and pricing data.

You will work with our operations, sales and administration departments along with our vendors to help us service our clients with the best possible product in a timely manner.

Your job functions include reviewing purchasing decisions and orders. You will keep informed of pricing trends in our industry. Daily you will interface with suppliers and internal departments to determine product specifications and need for equipment and materials. You will manage raw and packaging materials, as well as supplies necessary for the operation of our company. You will oversee a small administrative staff.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. Also, you must be computer savvy with good written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work with Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as having experience using an integrated ERP system, preferably PowerCerv.
