MTG is currently seeking applicants for the position of Purchasing Manager. You must be experienced, driven, creative, motivated and be willing to take ownership of the Purchasing and Inventory Operations. JOB DESCRIPTION: Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager will have accountabilities in planning, scheduling, sourcing and monitoring material requirements. In addition to responsibilities related to procurement, this individual will play a key role in all inventory related activity including inventory control, forecasting, cost analysis and warehouse management. Will also assume responsibility for maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring acceptable levels of service to enable MTG to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Price and contract negotiationsInventory Control – Materials ManagementStrategic Planning – ForecastingMaintain/Review existing and future BOMCost Control/ReductionsProject Management – Multi-taskContinuation and management of corporate policies and proceduresCommunicate with Sales, Accounting, Warehouse and Electronics DepartmentsSupervision of Purchasing personnelDevelop and cultivate Vendor relationshipsMonitor Vendor ActivityInvolvement in Month-end reconciliation process
