Purchasing Coordinator

The down-to-earth, pragmatic environment is focused on results, and employees are passionate about making a difference.The successful candidate will work closely with packaging and ingredient buyers as well as Operating Group personnel to enter purchase contracts into various procurement systems. They will coordinate the review of various daily, weekly and monthly exception reports and troubleshoot issues that are identified in those reports or elsewhere.Essential Job Function:1.Accurately enter and maintain contracts to purchase packaging and ingredient items in BPCS and CAS systems on a daily basis.2.Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports and distribute to buyers.3.Ensure and document that any issues identified in the reports or elsewhere are addressed and resolved.4.Follow current internal control policies and procedures and be actively involved in the evaluation of those controls to ensure they are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.5.Work closely with IT on coordinating and testing system revisions for all systems and training new users.6.Play an active role in the development of processes and controls as ConAgra transitions to new procurement systems.7.Extensive customer service responsibilities including resolution of problems and discrepancies as well as building relationships.Education/Experience/Skills: Two year Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience with BPCS and/or CAS a strong plus.
