Classification: Temporary Compensation: Pay up to $16.00 per hour Dayton company in need of a Buyer. Responsibilities include:
Develops and implements a diverse and multifaceted supply chain.
Must be able to research external customer Information Technology and paper needs and identify the best supplier to procure material and products, under the guidance of the Manager, Supply Management and the Supply Management Buyer/Analyst in charge of paper
Monitors compliance of business owners with preferred contract expenditures
Assumes leadership role, developing and analyzing business cases, working with other departments and team members associated with process re-engineering
Assumes the position of head negotiator, coordinating and directing the negotiation process and tactics with outside suppliers, legal counsel, and business managers, under the guidance of Manager, Supply Management
Must have a thorough understanding of the application of Supply Management principles to identify and implement cost reductions, and/or process improvement opportunities that will generate the financial resources to fund infrastructure and product investments.Minimum Qualifications:Associates degree with minimum two years experience or Bachelors degree
Knowledge of computers and the equipment involved with upgrades and part orders.Ability to make decisions and work independently
Self starter and team player
