Proposal Writer

Proposal Writer Correctional Healthcare Management, located near Inverness, has a great opportunity for a Proposal Writer with a minimum of two years experience in writing winning proposals. CHM is a growing, “fun to work at” company that provides quality medical care to inmate patients at county correctional facilities. We currently have 25 facilities in six western and mid-western states, and are poised for significant expansion. Our growth has created this new position that reports to the Director of Marketing. Duties include researching, writing, editing and review of all proposals to ensure they are well-executed in format, language and content and that all RFP requirements and guidelines have been fully satisfied. Each of our proposals is customized and site-specific. We require a writer with a strong attention to details and with the ability to work a flexible schedule during crunch periods and a commitment to meeting aggressive deadlines. Our proposals must be accurate, error-free, submitted on time and catalogued properly for future reference. REQUIREMENTS
We require strong writing and editing skills, a Bachelor’s degree in English Writing or Journalism and proof of exceptional writing, editing and document formatting skills. Candidates must have advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe suite skills, specifically InDesign. Candidates selected for interviews should be prepared to bring a portfolio of previous work product to the interview. Additional experience in technical writing, creation of marketing material or graphics development would be a plus.
