1.To develop short and long term production plans for the Convenience Foods re-packing and co-packing facilities that adhere to divisional objectives in customer service goals, quality standards, and days on hand targets.
2.Orders package material and monitor inventories as necessary to support ongoing business.
3.Develops finished product deployment plan for each of the co-packing/re-packing facilities.
4.Works closely with plants, co-packers, and re-packers to resolve issues involving distribution of product and procurement of raw ingredients and package materials.
5.Maintains the deployment and planning tools necessary to administrate effective plans for the co-packing and re-packing facilities.
6.Maintains weekly / period KPI tracking reports for each co-pack/re-pack facilities.
7.Works closely with the plants/co-packer production departments in order to maintain effective operations and meet the necessary service levels for bulk product requirements.  
8.Effectively manage relationships with resources from the Supply Chain, mixing centers, suppliers, and sales offices to effectively leverage all information towards the attainment of customer service goals and cost requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
2-5 Years Inventory Management Experience
1-2 Years Supply Chain Experience
Education:
Bachelors Degree

Key Responsibilities:
The Production Planner?s primary responsibilities are to generate short and long term production schedules for Convenience Foods co-packers and re-packers across multiple brands.  Managing national packaging material inventory levels and re-ordering to meet production facilities specific needs is also a key responsibility.  The planner also deploys all production to meet corporate cost efficiencies and customer service goals related to mixing center needs.
