The Ladysmith, WI Plant (Conwed Designscape) is one of six (6) Owens Corning C&I/OEM Products facilities and a part of the ISB Business Unit. This location makes custom acoustical products for businesses in the U.S., such as projects within schools, court houses and for auditoriums among other uses.The Pricing Specialist is responsible for working with the customer and the sales staff to design and quote the costs of labor and materials for customers’ specialized projects. The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to complete shop drawing take-offs for the quote. He/she will be able to understand the costing procedure to prepare accurate quotes. The ability to work independently and prioritize the work load will be invaluable to the person this role. A candidate that is team oriented, and is business marketing savvy will have an advantage in doing this role well. The ability to adapt quickly to change and able to operate in a very fast paced office environment is preferred.Knowledge / skills needed to successfully perform the job duties of this role:
Ability to read blue prints / architectural drawings and specifications preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, ability to utilize CAD efficiently is also preferred.
Proficient Math skills - Required
Strong communication skills - Required
Technical degree preferred
