Garmin produces some of the world's leading GPS navigation and communication products. And to make cutting-edge products, we need the best and brightest on our team. We are seeking a Global Supply Chain Planner to join our growing team.

This professional will manage the supply and demand of consumer finished goods product for global customers. Responsibilities include reviewing detailed ERP generated planned orders, releasing orders for timely supply of customer demand, analyzing exception and recommendation messages within the system on a daily basis. This professional will also communicate finished good supply plan priorities to overseas manufacturing sites, review and update planning reports, maintain item planning data and ensure inventory levels and customer service goals are established and maintained. Other duties include evaluation and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory, implementing engineering change orders, coordinating return of product, teaming with demand planning to consolidate, analyze and review sales forecasts for the marine and recreational product lines.

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or Material or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years master scheduling or production planning experience, ERP knowledge, and proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel. Highly motivated, self-directed candidates with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while prioritizing and handling multiple tasks are desired. CPIM certification, Oracle 11i ERP experience, or purchasing experience is highly desired.
