CITY OF OPA-LOCKA EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Purchasing Officer Finance Department Salary: $40,000 The City of Opa-locka is seeking an individual who has a working knowledge of governmental principles and procedures; markets and purchasing practices; the ability to prepare clear and concise specifications for items and services to be purchased; utilizing purchase orders, requisitions and Requests for Proposals bids (RFP). Prior municipal Purchasing experience needed. AS/AA degree in Public/Business Administration, or high school diploma supplemented by courses in business administration plus prior experience in municipal Purchasing administration; or any equivalent combination of skills, training and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities.
