International Purchasing EngineerFast growing Swedish owned designer/manufacturer of wireless automated window security and protection systems based in Southwest Florida seeks a purchasing engineer for procurement of overseas manufactured product lines.Responsibilities:Develop out-sourcing strategies for the selection and qualification of suppliers, quoting of components, and procurement of materials in support of new product commercialization and production. Negotiate and implement overseas purchasing agreements. Negotiate purchase prices. Conduct supplier audit and strive to continuously improve quality, delivery, and cost of purchased products. Perform statistical analysis on cost/price trends, lead times and supplier performance.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
B.S. or equivalent in a mechanical or materials technical field of study.
Minimum 5 years experience in an engineering role.
Automotive or similar mechanical background helpful.
Familiarity with assembly processes including lean manufacturing.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with Chinese suppliers.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Experience in developing and working with inventory management systems.
Well organized.
