Production Planner

Kamatics Corporation, a subsidiary of Kaman Corporation, located in Bloomfield, CT is a leader in the design and manufacture of high technology mechanical products, such as self-lubricated bearings and driveline couplings, used in aviation, marine, and other industrial applications.

Currently we have positions available for a Production Planner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Creates complex production drawings using Computer Aided Design programs to meet production expectations of process improvements, productivity, quality and customer requirements.
·Recommends and designs process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiencies and reduce costs.
·Develops work instructions on new product or new equipment to meet productivity and quality requirements.
·Conducts tolerance studies.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, analytical and computer skills and a BS degree in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering/machine shop environment with Computer Aided Design programs (Unigraphics is preferred).
